Concert Brass is sorry to announce the resignation of Musical Director, Stevie Baird at the beginning of the year. The band members would like to thank Stevie for all his hard work over the past two years and
would like to wish Stevie, Hilary and their new
baby daughter all the best for the future.
The band is
delighted to welcome Junior Band Conductor, Robert Fraser as the new Musical
Director of Newland Concert Brass.

SBBA Youth Development Officer met with the Newland Committee recently to
discuss the way forward for young people and brass bands. It was a very positive and informative
meeting and the committee is looking forward to following up some of the
items discussed.
